March 31: Vasquez Canyon Road Still Closed; SHS Lockdown Drills Students; More

Vasquez Canyon Road has been out of commission for the past two months. Now the county is saying commuters will have to wait a little longer to use the road again.

Drills on school campuses have been commonplace for years. Thursday morning, Saugus High School gave its students a jolt of what could happen if the school went on lockdown.

Charles Helmers Elementary School is in the running for a grant that could award the school up to $20 thousand – and now they are asking for your help.
