Around Town | Motorcyclists Take 9,000 Mile Journey
Deena Mastracci and Carl Reese are traveling up to Alaska, but not by airplane or car: they are riding their motorcycles all the way up to the northern-most point of the United States.
Mastracci and Reese, accompanied by a trained medic, leave on June 1, immediately after Mastracci takes her motorcycle safety test at the DMV making this ride her first motorcycle ride.
While they will be setting a world record if completing the trip, they say the inspiration behind the trip is less about setting records and more about inspiring others to live life to the fullest.(c) 2016 SCVTV
