Around Town | Motorcyclists Take 9,000 Mile Journey
|
Deena Mastracci and Carl Reese are traveling up to Alaska, but not by airplane or car: they are riding their motorcycles all the way up to the northern-most point of the United States. Mastracci and Reese, accompanied by a trained medic, leave on June 1, immediately after Mastracci takes her motorcycle safety test at the DMV making this ride her first motorcycle ride. While they will be setting a world record if completing the trip, they say the inspiration behind the trip is less about setting records and more about inspiring others to live life to the fullest.
