SCV In the Movies | Episode 62: ‘Songs and Bullets’ (Placerita 1938)
E.J. and Bill “found a fine find” in the SCV In The Movies film vault! This time it’s a cowboy movie starring a former opera singer produced by Stan Laurel of Laurel and Hardy fame, and featuring some funny stuff by a famous sidekick named Fuzzy! If that wasn’t enough, it was shot in our own Placerita Canyon including at Walker Ranch which you can visit today at the Placerita Nature Center. Join E.J. & Bill for this fun flick, filmed in our valley.
