About 60 Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department recruits met with domestic violence survivors at the Savia Center in Newhall Saturday night to hear personal stories from the survivors. Dozens attended the fourth annual touch a truck this past weekend at central park. Veterans walked down a red carpet at the Lifton Institute of Media Arts and Sciences on Saturday, in celebration of a program that will hopefully take them to a Hollywood red carpet. Senses returned to Main Street in 1950s fashion last Thursday. Plus, the work week forecast.
