TODAY AT SIERRA VISTA

DISNEY DANCE!- Sierra Vista, the dance this Friday is going to be EPIC! There’s going to be a DJ, green screen photographer, awesome food like churros and popcorn, beverages, games, AND….and 15 foot castle backdrop and firework lights! No one wants to miss out on the first dance of the year! Get your dance ticket today! This will be a dance you won’t forget!

ATTENTION ALL PARTY PACK MEMBERS- If you’re a party pack member and you haven’t gotten your ID card punched or your party pack swag yet, please see Mrs. Terranova in room 1002 ASAP. See you at the dance!

HONOR SOCIETY DUES- Deadline for Honor Society dues is TODAY by 2:30 pm! There are only about 20 students who have not paid their dues…so please do so by this Friday!!

MUSTANGS STUDENT OF THE MONTH- Team Mustangs would like to recognize Char Estevez as the Outstanding Student of The Month For September. She has done a tremendous job in all of her classes. Way to go CHAR!!!

BETWEEN TWO BOOKS- In today´s show, we have Ms. Mowry and Ms. Stauch for the second episode of Between Two Books.

ALL STUDENTS THAT ARE GOING TO THE DANCE- Attention students attending the dance, please line up around the door outside the left doors of the MPR around 2:20. You don’t need to have a ticket, buy you must have your ID card available and ready. Fast Pass ticket holders will get to enter the dance first. Please listen for ASB students with the megaphone calling for the Fast Pass members at 2:25. You can put your backpack in the PE locker room backpack cage. Food, beverages and photos are available for sale at the dance. Can’t wait to see you there.

PROJECT LINUS- Do you need community Service hours? Or maybe you want tot do something to help others. Project Linus is a program that donates handmade blankets to traumatized and critically ill children. Project Linus donates these blankets to several local non-profits like foster agencies, Domestic Violence, Henry Mayo, Michael Hoefflin Foundation, Mending Kids International, military families and many more. Project Linus Santa Clarita Chapter has a semi-annual “Make-a-Blanket Workshop” at Westfield Valencia Town Center, in front of Sears, from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM on October 8th, 2016. Have students bring their own pieces of fleece. Instructions are given at the workshop and they can make as many blankets as they like.
