The NextGen MediaMakers Festival Awards Ceremony celebrates the hard work and passion of students in the Santa Clarita Valley in multiple categories – Short Film, Silent Film, Broadcast Show, Feature Story, and PSA. Carrie Lujan, Communications Manager of the City of Santa Clarita, and Dave Caldwell, Sports Information Director of The Master’s University, hosted the ceremony on May 18, 2024, in the Canyon Country Community Center.

The NextGen MediaMakers Festival aims to establish a support system and network for media professionals, businesses, and other organizations; and provide resources, events, classes and workshops, and more to create a shared knowledge database.
