Kicking off this week’s episode of SCVTV’s Community Corner, hosts Carrie Lujan and Dave Caldwell kick things off with exciting updates for the Santa Clarita community including the Animal Care Grant Program, an initiative that offers direct financial assistance to Santa Clarita Valley nonprofits serving the animal population.

The Animal Care Grant Program is back for 2025! Applications for the 2025 grant cycle are now available online at SantaClarita.gov/AnimalCare and must be submitted by May 15, 2025. To help organizations better understand the program, a virtual informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 8 at 10:00 a.m.

Plus, Carrie and Dave highlight new offerings from the Santa Clarita City Store! Residents can now show off their city pride through a variety of city-branded products, including t-shirts, hoodies, hats, totes and more.

A limited selection of items is available at the Permit Center inside of City Hall, 23920 Valencia Blvd. #120, Valencia, CA 91355, but you can shop online for a wider selection.
