SCVTV's Community Corner | Celebrate Our Special Needs Community at City’s ‘FestAbility’
|
In this segment of SCVTV’s Community Corner, Cali Nocella, Arts and Events Coordinator for the City of Santa Clarita, previews the fun, family-friendly, and inclusive event known as FestAbility, formerly called Free to Be Me. In keeping with the spirit of inclusivity, this free event will be held at West Creek Park, which features an incredible inclusive play area equipped with specialized, easily accessible equipment for users of all abilities. The playground also includes a roller slide designed to reduce static for individuals with cochlear implants. For those who may need a quieter space to relax away from the noise and crowds, FestAbility will also offer a sensory-friendly Chill Zone.
