On a brand-new episode of This Week in Santa Clarita, we get a sneak preview of the fun, family-friendly, and highly anticipated Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros — a free event that celebrates children and the joy of reading.

The event will feature games, arts and crafts, and activities the whole family can enjoy. To coincide with the day’s festivities, the City of Santa Clarita will debut Library Express—a library on wheels that will make books, services, and programs more readily accessible. The exciting rollout will begin at the Old Town Newhall Library with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m., followed by an impressive procession of fire trucks, trash trucks, City vehicles, and more!

Día de los Niños will take place on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Canyon Country Jo Anne Darcy Library Branch.
