In this segment of SCVTV’s Community Corner, Ruth Rassool, chair of the Santa Clarita Valley Book Festival, and Sarah Burns, author and historian, share how bookworms and bibliophiles can find inspiration at the second annual gathering of literary enthusiasts.

The family-friendly festival will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Dr. Dianne G. Van Hook University Center lobby.

This free, jam-packed event will feature more than 80 authors across all genres, scheduled author readings, student workshops, and much more. The festival aims to rekindle a love of reading within families and the broader community.
