The annual Santa Clarita Valley Memorial Day Ceremony, held Monday, May 26^th at Eternal Valley Memorial Park honored and paid tribute to those who died while serving in the United States military.

The theme was the National Guard, and the ceremony featured a keynote address from Maj. Gen. Matthew P. Beevers of the National Guard, who acknowledged all those who have served and their families.

The program included music by the Santa Clarita Valley Concert Band and comments from U.S. Rep. George Whitesides.  Veterans from multiple generations attended, including a 102-year-old World War II veteran.

The event was organized by the Santa Clarita Valley Memorial Day Committee.
