The 7th Annual Santa Clarita Valley Film Festival will take place Jan. 5 through 8 at the Repertory East Playhouse in Old Town Newhall with an exciting line up of independent films from national, regional and local talents, including films made by local youth and submissions by CalArts students and alumni, offering festival attendees a chance to enjoy independent films by some of the world's best artists.
This year's event includes films in a variety of genres, from comedy and drama to animation and shorts.
Film Festival tickets can be purchased at the door and seating is on a first-come-first-served basis. Daily tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and provide admission to all screenings in a day.
The SCV Film Festival is dedicated to providing opportunities for interactions that enrich the Los Angeles and Santa Clarita communities both artistically and culturally through independent film.
