A 26-year-old man was sentenced to six months in county jail Wednesday for stealing a piece of the wrecked Porsche that actor Paul Walker was killed in.

A Sherman Oaks attorney pleaded “no contest” Wednesday to smuggling drugs into the North County Correctional Facility in Castaic.

A tip from a Val Verde resident led to the arrest of two people who were allegedly operating a chop shop just north of Santa Clarita.

Santa Clarita City Council member Marsha McLean was sworn in as Mayor at Tuesday’s city council meeting.
