A Newhall man accused of torturing and killing his infant daughter is due back in court next month after pleading not guilty at a preliminary hearing Friday. LA County has put plans for an emergency-communication tower on hold after scores of Saugus residents sounded off about the possible 70-foot structure. SCV residents will have the chance to weigh in on the north entrance to the eventual 20,000 home Newhall Ranch development in March. The Cardiac Rehabilitation Center at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital celebrated its grand re-opening ceremony and ribbon cutting Thursday night. Pi Day is this Saturday, a day we won’t see again for another century. Circle of Hope will be Bowling for Hope on Sunday.
