A Castaic man who is facing murder charges in the death of his wife is due back in court next month. COC brought out representatives from over a dozen veterans organizations for their Pre-Veterans Day Resource Fair. The County of Los Angeles Department of Animal Care and Control teamed up with the Animals for Armed Forces Foundation to provide free adoptions to veterans and military service members. CHP and the California Office of Traffic Safety is continuing to focus on reducing pedestrian and bicycling collisions through the grant funded Pedestrian and Bicyclist Safety Enforcement and Education Project 4. Calling all local authors: get the chance to showcase your work at next year’s fourth annual Celebration of Local Authors at the Old Town Newhall Public Library.
