Caltrans is asking that everyone do their part to prevent trash from reaching California’s roadways. Last year alone, cleanup costs exceeded $69 million statewide. In addition to resources that could be focused elsewhere, the debris can create safety hazards for both Caltrans Maintenance crews and the traveling public.
