Spirit Week: We have Spirit Week this Week! Today is Disney/Marvel/Star Wars day, and Tomorrow is wear red white or pink day.

Tutu Making Tutorial: In the spirit of “Color Run fun,” Mrs. Terranova and Miss Bailey are hosting a tutu making tutorial on Wednesday, February 20th,  from 2:15 until 3:15 in room 621. Participants get to make their own tutu to keep! Students can wear their tutu for the Color Run that we will have on 2/22, or they can just make their tutu for fun! If you’re interested, please pick up a form from Mrs. Terranova in room 621 ASAP and  return this form to Mrs. Knolls in the counseling office. Only the first 30 students to turn in their slip will receive an admission ticket, so don’t wait!

Special Assembly: Today, we will be having a special assembly with motivational speaker, Dee Hankins. Get ready a great presentation. Please be sure to be a polite and curteous audience during your team’s assembly time.

Valentine’s Day Activity: On Valentine’s day at lunch, you can find your own Valentine heart with your name on it behind the fitness center. Once you have found it come out to the outdoor stage in order to get a free hershey kiss. Make sure to have your ID card with your valentine heart to get the candy. Happy Valentine’s Day from ASB!

Tortilla Toss: Come to the quad today at lunch, to watch your teachers and teammates in a student/teacher tortilla toss! The winning team gets spirit points, so be sure to cheer on your team!

Debate Club: Come join the debate club! Come to room 801 on Thursdays at Brunch to learn more about your favorite subject, debate about it, or learn and debate about new subject or topics brought up by other students! Hope to see you there!

Relax Book: Attention all students.  Have you ever visited our SV Library and needed to quickly grab a book for RELAX?  Then check out our new genre displays, located on the counter by the library windows.  You’ll find the required books for Q3 enriched English, romance stories in honor of Valentine’s day, popular quick reads for your next RC quiz, sports books, and funny stories.  Checkout a book from your SV Library today!

Safe School Ambassadors: Safe School Ambassadors have a regular meeting today in the MPR at lunch. We will be discussing a possible field trip to the Museum of Tolerance as well as passing out your laminated one-word-New-Year-Resolutions and more, so please arrive promptly with your food.
