Within hours of the two largest earthquakes in California in decades, Caltrans responded, from the office and from the field, by assessing infrastructure in the Ridgecrest area and dealing with rock slides and large cracks across the highways. Public Information Officer Alisa Becerra highlights how in spite of the countless aftershocks, Caltrans worked tirelessly to keep the roads safe for the public.
