The Castaic Area Town Council is looking to fill two seats after a pair of officials stepped down, within about a month of each other.
About 3,000 people will march in Santa Clarita’s annual Fourth of July Parade, and an additional 25,000 are expected to line the streets as spectators, this Thursday in Old Town Newhall.

The Fourth of July, once coined as the busiest day for the County of Los Angeles Department of Animal Care and Control has been replaced by July 5th due to stray and frightened animals.
