Finding Art Santa Clarita | Inside the Gallery: ‘Shoreline Symmetry’
|
Karen Hochman Brown’s mandala-like digital art explores hidden worlds within nature. Hochman Brown’s gallery “Shoreline Symmetry” shows new perspectives of oceans, beaches, and more, exploring a hidden world within the shores. Each of her pieces begins with a single photograph that she manipulates on her computer; Hochman Brown pulls out specific elements from the photographic imagery, and alters layer after layer to create new compositions with kaleidoscopic-like reflections. “Shoreline Symmetry” is available for viewing during all events at The MAIN, as well as Tuesday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The gallery will be on display until May 11, 2018.
