Finding Art: Siqi Fan ‘Please Take A Look’ at C4 Gallery

The city of Santa Clarita invites the community to view its latest art exhibit at the Canyon Country Community Center, “Please Take a Look” by Siqi (Frances) Fan, now through March 13, 2024.

This exhibition produces thought-provoking imagery that is influenced by themes of democracy, freedom and capitalism. Fan offers a glimpse into her identity while mirroring the clash of cultures and beliefs by drawing inspiration from Lévy-Bruhl’s perspective of the ‘primitive’ personality. She examines the mindsets of her native China and through her striking images unveils where the LGTBQ community faces unique challenges in expressing themselves in society.

The art exhibit will be displayed at the C4 Gallery located inside the Canyon Country Community Center at 18410 Sierra Hwy, Santa Clarita, CA 91351.
