Sabina Arias is a multi-faceted musician and mixed media artist from San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. She moved to LA in 2015 to study at the California Institute of the Arts. Her work mostly focuses on Mesoamerican figures and Indigenous cultures of Mexico. While at CalArts, Aries formed Primero Sueño, First Dream, a band that creates exciting new sounds by exploring the intersections of music traditions from different cultures. “Everything I do revolves around an investigation of my identity, or Mexican identity.
