Finding Art Santa Clarita | Students Get Full Live Theatrical Experience During CTG’s Spring 2022 After School Workshop

Take a peek at the inner workings of the Canyon Theatre Guild’s Youth Theatre Institute during its Spring 2022 after school workshop. Students ages 8 to 17 learned what it means to be an actor as they embarked on a full theatre production including auditions, rehearsals and two live performances of the musical comedy, “We are Monsters.” Watch as the instructors helped bring out the student’s inner monsters while also teaching them teamwork, the basics of acting, singing, improv, and stagecraft. In addition to after school workshops during the spring and fall, the CTG also offers “Adventures in Theatre” daytime workshops for home-schooled students and summer workshops for children ages 6 through 17.
