Barris’ work reflects identity and experiences through emotive portraits that offer glimpses into the lives of her subjects.
Her figurative paintings use vibrant colors, striking contrasts, and detailed textures to bring each piece to life through various materials such as acrylics, oils, laundry detergent, and markers on canvas.
