Discover ‘Character Strengths’ at the Canyon Country Community Center Art Exhibit by Deitra Charles

View one of the city of Santa Clarita’s newest art exhibits, “Character Strengths” by Deitra Charles at the Canyon Country Community Center through Sept. 11. Charles explores the themes of family and community to bring out feelings of peace and calm.

She infuses her art by drawing inspiration from her love of family and relationships to bring out the viewers’ best selves and have a positive impact on others.

Deitra Charles is a Los Angeles native who received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyala Marymount University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Claremont Graduation University.
