Learn how SCV-based multimedia artist Naomi Young has developed, honed, and shared her visionary artistry with the community in this special “Finding Art” segment from guest Producer, Koren Young. Naomi Young’s art is on display at The MAIN, from August 6 to September 30. Her solo exhibition, titled “Textura”, ” invites viewers on a journey inspired by her birthplace, Jerusalem. Naomi’s artwork draws on a variety of tactile and sensory stimuli, employing various mediums ranging from watercolor, colored pencil, mosaics, and loom wall tapestries. In this special “Finding Art” piece, guest producer Koren Young shares his mom’s artistic journey, from her days as a young girl in Jerusalem to now, where her art has brightened the walls of some of SCV’s most iconic places.
