College of the Canyons Celebrates Día De Los MuertosThe Department of Modern Languages and Cultures in collaboration with The Associated Student Government, Sigma Delta Mu, ESL and Anthropology presented an interdisciplinary collective showcase celebrating Day of the Dead. The altar exhibit was on display October 25th through November 1st in the Library Public Gallery. Students were welcomed to place photographs on the altar to celebrate lost loved ones. A celebration was held on November 1st, featuring traditional food, pan dulce, and baile folklórico.
