Major Impact Theater is a nonprofit theater group for adult actors with disabilities.
Founded by Jill Garson and Shawnda Davis, MIT puts on musical theater productions that help their actors improve their speech, memory, self-esteem, job-searching skills, and more.
MIT has put on six productions, including “Harry and the Magic Rock,” a parody musical about Harry Potter that was highlighted during this season’s Finding Art.
